Secret to Success:
While the the predecessor was good, the original just can't be beat. Super Mario Kart was never made out to be some epic game. Rather it was simply meant to be a fun spin on racing with all the favorite Mario figures. In the end it has turned into a classic. The control, the weapons, the courses, everything in this game is done perfectly. And unlike its N64 brother, the battle mode in this game rocks. Simply trying to place at all on Rainbow Road in this game will take some time. It just goes to show that a game doesn't need flashy graphics to be good. Play control is this games strong suit and it works wonders.

Memorable Moments:
This is one of those classic games you can play over and over and never tire of. One of my favorite courses has a jump in it. And one of my favorite moves is hitting someone just as they hit the jump, because they then don't make it and have another lap to catch up on. Another great thing about this game is that you'll find yourself constantly swearing at the other players, especially that damn princess. But when you get a couple people around, this is probably the most fun you'll have with a video game.
