Website Info
How long has this site been online?
vitaflo went live on May 7th, 1997, though some of the information on this site goes back before that.
Did you design/program this site yourself?
The design, HTML, CSS, and JS yes. For the admin side, I use Moveable Type.
Why does your site look weird in my browser?
You're probably using a browser that is not very standards compliant (this goes for anyone using IE/PC). I'd suggest upgrading to a modern browser.
What is that little icon by the URL a picture of?
That's a cropped image of Woodman from Mega Man 2. I usually use him as my avatar for various sites.
Do you have any other websites?
Yes, my other website is ASMBLR, which houses my various net.art projects dealing with gaming.
Gaming Info
How long have you been playing video games?
Since the early 80's. My first console game was Combat on the Atari 2600 and my first arcade game was Sega's Zaxxon.
Have you ever worked in the industry, or know anyone in it?
Yes, I was a freelance video game journalist for Gannett News Service from 1990-1994. I also have friends in the industry (developers and writers) who help keep me up to date on the current scene.
How large is your console collection?
I currently have 17 different gaming consoles. I'll be posting a full list to this site in the future.
What are you playing now?
If you look in the right hand column, you will see not only what I'm playing now, but what I've recently finished and am looking forward to in the future.
What genre of games are your favorites?
I'll play pretty much anything that's good, but I tend to have an affection towards RPG's, shooters (real shooters, not FPS's), puzzles, and very unique and weird games. I also tend to like Japanese games over their western equivalents.
