+8 February 2000 There will be a disruption of service tonight as we move our server to her new home. Of course, the only one's who will really care about this are those of you who can't get to the site while it's down, and thus this message does those people little good now does it? ;)
+31 January 2000 As always, I appreciate your feedback to the site, be it good or bad. But there's one thing that bothers me, and has bothered me ever since I started this whole web thing back in '94. People who make snide comments always do so anonymously. Now, I value personal privacy. But it makes me wonder why someone would take the time to say "your site sucks" or "I hate the these stupid e-zine sites" and not have the balls to at least sign their name, or include an email address to reply to. My statements to all these unreturnable mails is, "what have you done to make the web a better place?" I certainly don't expect everyone to like everything on this site, but if you have some beef with it, or want to see something changed, please, let's talk about it. Enough of this 6th grade playgound bull.
+27 January 2000 Within the next coming weeks you may experience disruption on vitaflo. We're going to move our server over to a new home. Of course, this could mean that the site is down for a few days so just stick in there. Once we get things back up again it'll be good as new.
+25 January 2000 Check out Aexchange. After some conflict, the site deserves props. :)
+20 January 2000 Yum, Yum, currently redesigning this site. Cool cool stuff in store (assuming it all goes according to plan). When will you see the new stuff? Um, I'm not sure. That's all I know!
In the meantime, check out a couple links you may find interresting.

+14 January 2000 Many MANY people, especially on the net, have been influenced by David Carson. The deconstructionist style that he basically invented has been the source of inspiration for just about any of the younger designers out there. I haven't read many of the things Carson writes, mainly because he doesn't write much (save his books), but Mat Mejia over at Holodeck 73 has an exclusive interview with one of the best modern graphic designers out there today. Do yourself a favor and check it out. The best quote from the interview has go to be "So far, the best print still drives the best web design, but that will eventually change...." All of you budding web designers take note. We will be the powers that be in the design world in the years to come. Good news indeed.
+13 January 2000 If you head on over to Praystation today, you'll notice that it's not really Praystation at all, but a redirect to NoFriendo's other design outting, Once Upon A Forest. I'm assuming since I didn't get an email about it, this is only temporary, but it is a nice change nonetheless. I have yet to figure out what exactly it means, or what it does, but perhaps it wasn't meant to do much of anything. A fun break from the normally great gaming fare. UPDATE. Looks like it was indeed temporary as praystation now has a new navigation system to show off. No new content though. I'm assuming I just caught the time inbetween the upload and testing of the new nav. -B |
