Secret to Success:
When Gameday came out for the Playstation, EA was so scared, it actually skipped a year of Madden to go back to the drawing board and attempt to do something as good. Gameday 99 is just the next logical step for the new big name in football. What's so great about this game is its two person play. Teams match up well, and even people who are veterans at the game can still be smoked by a new comer. Usually announcers in a game detract from the overall feel, but in this game, Dick Enberg and Phil Simms do an incredible job.

Memorable Moments:
Taking the Packers to the Super Bowl and along the way, killing the ViQueens. Winning in this game is not always assured, and I found myself many times winning a game by a field goal, and losing just as many the same way. Sports games are notorious for bugs, and this one is no different. Most notable is the robotized voice of Phil Simms that seems to pop up at random. It's pretty funny when it happens.
