Secret to Success: As well as being one of the most lavish games on the N64, this game will probably go down as one of the best designed games ever made. From the moment you pick it up, you realize it's something special. The detail, the thought and the layout of everything must have been thought out for an eternity. Normally hardcore gamers can guess what's next, but with Ocarina they find themselves thinking, "damn, I never would have thought of that." Sometimes there are reasons for that (the game can get very hard), but mostly it's just pure genius.

Memorable Moments: Fighting Shadow Link. For me, this was a major highlight. Walking into a room that didn't seem possible and then having to fight your own shadow. Talk about disorientation! Other great moments are those where you have a hunch about something and it turns out you're right. Since there are so many things you can do, usually all it takes is thinking up what you want to do and you can probably do it. The thrill of being able to do most anything is awesome. More games should be like this.
