Secret to Success: Everyone wants to fly around in a space ship, pretending to save the universe like Luke Skywalker. Colony Wars was the first game to really bring that experience to the screen. The weapons are intense, the space field is vast, and the ships are BIG. And the game is totally non-linear. Even if you fail a mission, you move on to the next one, where the failed mission has an affect of everything there after. Just like it would be in a real war. Dogfights have never been more fun.

Memorable Moments: The explosions. I remember playing this the first time with the sound turned up and going against one of the big Frigates. I blew that thing to bits and the explosion sound that came through my speakers almost knocked me over. It made me want to go out and blow up everything. Who says sound isn't important in games?!
