Secret to Success: One of the first games for the Super Nintendo upon release, it was an instant classic. When you start the game and see Mute City, you know you're in for something special. At the time, the Mode 7 effects had never been seen before, and added to the games mystique. Twisting around corners, making jumps, power sliding, all while not trying to hit the walls was what this game was all about. And talk about difficult. Sure the first few levels were easy and fun, but later on it became downright intense. A person really had to know what they were doing to win. This game is money.

Memorable Moments:
Mute City is definitely one of the most memorable levels in any video game. But the main fun for me here was trying to get the fastest lap time. Like high score in other games, this game would have you sitting for hours just trying to take .01 seconds off your time, if only because you saw someone in Nintendo Power who had a lower time than you.
