I got my Atari 2600 last night! This thing kicks ass. It looks like it just came out of the factory. I mean, for being like 22 years old this thing is amazing. Hell if it was 2 months old this thing would be amazing. The games all work, as do the controllers, all in good condition. I'm not a big fan of most of the games, but some are good, and Warlords in particular is excellent. I'm just mainly happy that I got such a mint system. It'll go good with the others I have. Now I just need to find me a nice Turbo Grafx 16.

I'm not liking that The Onion is getting worldwide popularity. Everyone seems to be talking about it like it's their own little thing. It was so much better when it was a little underground paper in Madison, WI. Part of the fun was telling others about it, letting them know how funny it is, and laughing along the way. Now the whole world knows, and the little inside stuff I got to joke around about with my friends 7 years ago isn't quite so special or unique. All good things must end I suppose.

I don't like the word Sans. I've seen it all over lately and never knew what it meant until I figured it out in context. Just a dumb word really. Oh yes, and Ben Edwards is a bitch.

Well, after a brief laps of service, vitaflo.com is up again. Seems someone decided to reroute my domain to www.ho.com. Funny. Not much new. Just trying to work on the next big vitaflo thing. Perhaps Feb or March it'll be good to go. We'll see. That's all for now.

Journal entry? What journal entry? Fuck that. I wanna sleep.

Well, I got the ebay bug and went on a bidding spree today. I found a gem. An original Atari VCS (otherwise known as a 2600), in mint condition, everything working, even guaranteed to work, with 31 games. The only problem with it is that it doesn't come with Warlords, or a second set of paddle controllers. That's ok, I can pick those up somewhere else. So my bid was for $45. However I still have a day and a half to wait to see if I get it. My feeling is that the price will be double that by the time the auction closes. I still haven't figured out what my top bidding price is. But since I'm into nice, clean, working antique game systems, I may have to go all out on this one. I just have to make sure I don't get too involved with this. Ebay is way too addictive.

I'm thinking of doing something a little different with vitaflo. I know what you're thinking..."again?". Well, yeah, again. When you finish one version of a site, it's always good to figure out what the next will be. Right now the leading candidate is to do something like 0sil8 where I base the site on "episodes". Every once and a while I'll put up a new random episode, something off the wall, funny, serious, fresh, anything really. The site will change based on the episode. This I think will give me freedom to do some things I want to do and not be limited to the four areas I have now, as well as change the site look more often to keep it fresh and interresting. This site is for me first and foremost, but I also want to make it likable for the subscribers. The journal and cam would stay, but the people page would probably go, instead perhaps being incorporated into an episode of some sort. Current episode ideas include: the history of vitaflo, top 25 video games of all time, my adventure to London, deviant Lego activity, contents of "Brent's Wall of Fly Ho's", and other similar amusing things. Comments?

Andy's here. Yeah. It's cool though, just relaxin, trying to take it easy. I've been running rampant for the last two months now, so it's cool I don't have to entertain all that much. We're still trying to figure out where we want to live come spring, but that will all work out I suppose. Andy needs to find a job first. So basically, this weekend is about Zelda, watching football, and beer. Can't go wrong with that.

Well, the Wall Of Fly Ho's in my office is no more. Actually that's not true, it's still up, I just took down some of the more "offensive" stuff, not because I was made to, but because I can just see someday, someone coming in and bitching, and I don't want to have to deal with it. Now it's pretty user friendly. And besides, it will be taken down when Andy moves out here, as I am assuming we'll have our own Wall in our apartment (at least we'd better). Look for a short bio on the history of the wall sometime in the future on vitaflo.com.

Back in the good ol USA. Lemme tell ya, it feels good. London was great, and no offense to our UK readers, but I really missed being back in America. New Years on Trifalgar Square was pretty wicked though. Lots of fun happening there. Now comes me getting back into the groove here. When you're gone for two weeks that takes some time, and I'm still trying to adjust slowly. Millions of things have been going on, and are coming up, and all I want to do is sit and relax. No time for that either. I'm hoping in a few weeks I won't be so pressed for time.
