Secret to Success:
Arguably the most pirated game of all time, Doom set the trend for 3D gaming and first person shooters we know today. There are many other games more advanced than Doom, yet for some reason, the forefather of them all remains nostalgic and ever fun to play still to this day. This is the game that put Id Software on the map and gave John Carmack the money to buy his first of many Ferrari's. It's not hard to learn, and almost everyone has it, allowing multi-player games to pop up just about anywhere.

Memorable Moments:
The first time I saw this thing I was blown away. It was my senior year in High School and I was in my computer programming class. Our teacher decided to let us play this thing all day, during which we were supposed to figure out how some of the programming may have been done. Yeah right. We just sat in there and Fragged the hell out of each other for the whole hour. This game started a school wide skipping conspiracy, with people planning certain times to "go to the bathroom" for just 10 minutes to play against their friends who pulled the same excuse on their teachers.
