The 2nd edition of Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference is finally coming out, and according to Amazon, it'll be very soon (Aug 15th)! Looks like it's going to cover HTML 4.01, CSS 2, DOM 2, and JS 1.5, as well as IE 6 (Win), IE 5.1 (Mac), NS 6 and 7, and Mozilla 1.0. It's also going to be 500 pages larger than the previous edition (1500 total pages).
I've been waiting for this book for about 3 years now. The first edition is by far the best (and most used) book that I own, and was what really helped me learn DHTML in the first place (and thus Assembler and the like). Now however, the first edition is out of date, so I'm really looking forward to the 2nd edition and all the new syntax references. It's pretty much the only book anyone needs as a reference to building anything inside a browser window.
