Many MANY people, especially on the net, have been influenced by David Carson. The deconstructionist style that he basically invented has been the source of inspiration for just about any of the younger designers out there. I haven't read many of the things Carson writes, mainly because he doesn't write much (save his books), but Mat Mejia over at Holodeck 73 has an exclusive interview with one of the best modern graphic designers out there today. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The best quote from the interview has go to be "So far, the best print still drives the best web design, but that will eventually change...." All of you budding web designers take note. We will be the powers that be in the design world in the years to come. Good news indeed.
