Well, this is the last day I'll be updating the journal on this site until Jan 6th. Tomorrow morning I leave to go back to my hometown of Sturgeon Bay, WI for Christmas. Then on Monday I'm leaving with my friend Phlappes on our big trip to London to celebrate New Years. Right now I'm trying to get as much info as I can about the place so I don't go nuts trying to figure everything out. I got some British Pounds today and I must say the exchange rate sucks. $70 gets me £40. But it's a start, and I figure I'll use my credit card anyway most of the time. I am excited though. I've really never been anywhere before so this will be big. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Maybe I'll go on sabbatical sometime and move there for a year. Ok, so now I'm just talking. Well, I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday season, regardless of what holiday you celebrate. I'll return on the 6th!!
